"Never Can Tell" website
Never Can Tell is a new iPhone application development company.
As much as I’d love to take credit for the cool illustrations, Alex Tyres designed and illustrated the “Never Can Tell” brand. I was responsible for coding the website, and because Never Can Tell is an iPhone development company, they wanted their website to not only be optimised for mobile Safari, but to include a few iPhone only “easter eggs”.
Without giving too much away the easter egg takes advantage of css transformations and multi-touch, two unique aspects of the iPhone.
I am particularly excited about css transformations, for the fact that you can create animations with concise code, and in the case of the iPhone the css transformations are hardware accelerated
